DENVER—On Monday, August 20, the University of Denver – host of the first Presidential Debate on Oct. 3 – will host a panel discussion in Washington, D.C. to explore the current political state of play in Colorado. Panelists, including faculty experts from the University of Denver as well as Colorado political experts, will discuss the state’s shifting political landscape; its diverse electorate, including the growing Hispanic population and increasing number of independent voters; and other issues that are making news in Colorado.
This panel discussion is one in a series of pre-debate events that the University is hosting to explore Colorado’s purple state status as well as the upcoming Presidential Election.
