TEDxDU and TEDxDU Active

We have a number of events planned, so please read the information below carefully.

Kick-Off Party Thursday, May 12, 6-8 p.m. in the Driscoll Ballroom

A kick-off party designed to start the celebration of TEDxDU. Join fellow students and alumni for a fun evening with comedian Rob Gleeson, TED Talks, appetizers, and a cash bar. The party is free and reservations are required. You must register separately for this event.

TEDxDU Friday, May 13, 1-6 p.m.

We have TWO venues, to accommodate as many TEDsters as possible:

• TEDxDU Active at Driscoll Ballroom in the Driscoll Student Center
Hosted by comedian and DU alum Rob Gleeson, TEDxDU Active is a live simulcast from Gates Concert Hall, plus its own blend of excitement and activities. The spirit of TEDxDU Active is interactive and social, and attendees will be encouraged to engage with each other during the event. It’s also an ideal option for people who want to participate in TEDxDU but require a flexible schedule. Doors open at noon; your ticket includes a complimentary lunch at 12:30 p.m. and the post-event party at the Newman Center.
• TEDxDU at the Newman Center for the Performing Arts – FULL
Our signature event in the beautiful June Swaner Gates Concert Hall (same location as last year’s TEDxDU). Doors will open at 12:45 and the program begins promptly at 1 p.m. The event will have one intermission, and attendees will come for the entire program, from 1-6 p.m.

TEDxDU After Party, Friday, May 13, 6-8 p.m., Newman Center stage and lobby
Our TEDxDU after-party will give all TEDxDU attendees a chance to engage our speakers and each other in spirited conversation stimulated by the day’s events. Registration for the after-party is included with your TEDxDU and TEDxDU Active registration.
